Broke my heart to read of Mr. Sebastians passing. I have thought of him often since high school and even more as I’ve gotten older, & would wonder if he was still with us. He was SOOOOO my FAVORITE teacher at TC. I had him in 11th & 12th grade for American History & Government..... I hated those two subjects but just absolutely LOVED Mr. Sebastian. I managed to pass his class both years.....(wonder if it had anything to do with him sitting me RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS DESK.??? ) LOLOLOL , can’t mess up in class when you sit right where I had to sit ... Lolol ..... he was a WONDERFUL teacher & I’ll never forget him. I graduated in 1968. My prayers and heart goes out to you all as you go through this painful time in your life .... GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I was so sad to hear of Mr. Sebastian’s passing. He was a wonderful principal and such a good person! I moved and switched schools in 9th grade. My first year in Brake, I helped in the office. He was always so nice to me and made me laugh all the time. He made such a tough transition so much easier. That was 35 years ago and I still remember. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sad time.

As a student at JFK in Taylor (80’) I remember Mr. Sebastian as sort of a father figure and well respected. He seemed to be everywhere within the building & grounds and always with an easy smile and words of guidance and encouragement. He was a good man and I remember him well. He will be missed

From watching Al and my beloved cousin Sally’s wedding video when I was very young, to backyard picnics at my Aunt Alice’s house every year ,to family visits to Sally and Al’s house, Big Al was always the perfect host. As I watch old family movies he was always “hosting”. My fondest appreciation is that when he made a trip to Las Vegas he always took the time to see my aging mother. A pretty big give on a quick trip to “sin city”. My love and wish for peace and comfort to all his precious, precious family.

Al was my cousin Sallyann's husband, and I first met him as a small child. From that age, he always made me feel welcome in their home. He was always interested in what I was up to, and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. I will always appreciate the extra care he gave to my dad when he was aging and I wasn't in the area and able to help out with daily care. I had a wonderful visit with them at Christmas a few years ago. He was a great chef! Loved his meals! I'm so sorry for your loss.
