Alice Kathleen Beadle

After working as a court clerk for the 17th District Court, Alice joined the Redford Township Police Department in 1957, as a secretary to the Chief of Police. In 1986, she became secretary in the detective section before her retirement in 1988.

A concerned citizen, Alice also shared her talents as the corresponding secretary for the Redford Township Democratic Party.

She was the beloved wife of the late Cyril J. O’Neil and the late Harvey J. Beadle. Loving mother of Kathleen A. (James H.) Thompson and step mother of Terry A. (Margaret J.) Beadle. Cherished grandmother of Karen (George) Cassidy, Robert (Lisa) Kennedy, Jamie Kennedy, Kevin (Donna) Beadle, Kirk (Suzanne) Beadle, Tom (Deanna) Beadle and great grandmother of Shelby Kennedy, Kyle Beadle, Sarah Beadle, Dylan Beadle, Jonah Beadle, Grace Beadle and Aidan Beadle. Preceded in death by brother Guy M. Paul.

The family will receive friends on Friday May 25, 2012 from 3-9pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.

Alice's life will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on Saturday May 26, 2012 at 11 am at the funeral home before processing to Mt. Hope Cemetery in Livonia for her committal prayers following which she will be laid to rest with her husband.
