It is with great sadness that the family of Allison Allen announces her passing after a brief illness, on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the age of 43 years. Allison will be lovingly remembered by her; father Daniel Allen and mother Ellen Allen; sister Susan (Michael) Graydon, brother Sean (Amy) Allen; niece Meghan. She will be greatly missed by Aunt Sandra Mcguire, and Great Aunt Audrey McArthur as well as her extended family of Windsor Ontario. She was predeceased by Grandparents Donald and Lois Allen, Grandparents James and Margaret Hennessy, Great Grandmother Edith Dulmage.
Allison loved her family and friends and talking to anyone she met. Allison will be remembered for her kindness, caring gentle nature, and ever present smile.
Allison was active in Special Olympics and especially excelled at basketball. She had a love of travel. Some of her favorite places were Ireland, Hawaii, New Mexico, and Key West, Florida.. She was a member of ARC (acting as a board member of her local chapter) and the Jaycees of Redford.
A visitation for Allison will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152 with a memorial service at 12:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Allison's memory may be made to Special Olympics of Michigan, 6624 Timber Ridge Dr, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan US.
