Art was the beloved husband of Tammy Cummins, with whom he shares many wonderful years of love, companionship and laughter. Their marriage was filled with endless adventures where they captured the hearts of those around them. Art and Tammy truly were everyone’s favorite couple.
He was a proud and loving father to Zane, Melissa, Karinda, Amber (Stephen Wilder), and Raymond, each of whom he adored beyond measure. His children were the light of his life. He never missed an opportunity to tell them how much he loved them or how proud of them he was. Whether through words, a helping hand, or his signature Dad jokes that never failed to get an eye roll and a smile, Art always made sure his kids felt loved and supported.
He was the proud and doting Grandpa to Cade, Zoe, Joshua, and Carson, and he was so excited to meet his newest grandson on the way. He loved spoiling them, making them laugh and sharing his love of the outdoors.
Art was also a caring brother to Debbie Rivard. Family meant everything to him and he carried that love in to every relationship he built.
Art had a gift for bringing joy to those around him and his sense of humor was legendary. He could find a way to make anyone smile, even on their toughest days. His kindness and generosity were boundless -- whether he was offering a helping hand, lending an ear, or simply sharing a laugh, Art made the world a little brighter just by being in it.
He found peace and happiness in the simple joys in life. He loved fishing, hitting the golf course with his buddies, and cruising around in his bright orange 1956 Ford F100 with Tammy by his side. More than anything, Art loved being surrounded by family and friends and creating memories filled with love, laughter and food.
Art lived with a heart full of kindness and was always helping others with no desire to be recognized for what he did. In his honor, the family asks that you pay it forward in your own way – lend a hand, share a laugh, or simply spread kindness, just as Art did. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave so freely will continue to inspire us and his memory will forever be a blessing.
