

Art a proud veteran of WWII. He served in the Army Air Corps and later graduated from University of Detroit Civil Engineering. He was an usher at St. Aidan Catholic Church in Livonia where he was also a member of the men’s club for 30 years.
Arthur was the loving husband of the late Margaret, who he married on August 27, 1949 at St. Alphonsus in Dearborn.. Beloved father of Mark (Jay Ann), Margaret (Ronald) Long, James (Diana), Arthur (Marianne), Michael (Becky), Jane and Daniel (Kristin). Proud grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of 16. Also survived by dear siblings Paul (Blanche) and Beatrice (J. Michael) Maher, brother-in-law Eugene (Martha) Method and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dear brother James.
Arthur's family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday April 21, 2016 from 3-8 pm with a Rosary Service, 7 pm, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.
His life will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass on Friday April 22, 2016 at 11:30 am, with in state 11 am, at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd (north of Six Mile Rd) in Livonia.
