Barry is a veteran of the Detroit Police Department. He retired after 33 years of service and continued working for an additional 10 years with the security department at Providence Hospital. In his free time Barry enjoyed playing golf, camping and traveling with his family.
Barry was the beloved husband of Chris for 53 years, the loving father of the late Mike (Dawn) and Jeff, and the cherished grandfather of Mitchell, Kyle and Alec. He is also survived by his brother Phillip.
Barry will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
