Beverly Joyce Bennett

Beverly J. Bennett, age 91, of Livonia Michigan (formerly of Farmington Hills, Michigan) passed away May 16th, 2021 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia. She was born July 24th, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan, to Mary and Lee Warren.

She graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit in 1947, majoring in pre-med. She later attended and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University.

She was a home keeper raising three boys. After graduating from Wayne State, Beverly became an account manager at Michigan Bell and later AT&T.

Beverly was a prolific artist and gardener. She rendered paintings using Oil and Acrylic paints and created sculptures in metal. In her retired years she spent many hours in her studio creating her works of art. When she was not painting in the spring and summer would tend to her garden.

Beverly is survived by her sons Floyd Bennett of Livonia, Bryan (Madeline Rivera) Bennett of Palmetto, FL and Scott (Lori Anderson) Bennett of Elizabeth, CO, and grandchildren Samantha Bennett, Jessica Bennett, and Tyler Bennett.

Internment will be at Cherry Hill Cemetery, Canton, MI.

The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday - June 7, 2021 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home - 37000 West Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
