Bruce Andrew Benz passed away October 16, 2017 at the age of 68. Loving husband of Sandie for 49 years. Beloved father of Kimberly (Jeffrey) Mussen, Kelly (Andrew) Mussen, and the late Kurt Benz. Proud Papa of Joshua, Addison, Jacob, Tyler, Olivia, and Benjamin. Dear brother of Robert Benz, Charlotte (David) VanRyckeghem, Noe Siuta and brother-in-law of Susan (Gerry) Large.
Bruce enjoyed the outdoors- especially golfing, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed bowling but above all else he was known for his devotion to his family and his love for spending time with them.
Visitation Wednesday, October 18 from 4-8pm and Thursday, October 19 from 1-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Funeral Mass Friday, October 20 at 12pm (in state at 11:30am) at St. Kenneth Catholic Church 14951 Haggerty Road in Plymouth. Memorials can be made to the Kurt Benz Memorial Scholarship at Garden City High School. Please make checks payable to “Garden City Schools” and write “Kurt Benz Memorial Scholarship” in the memo.
