Carole L. Fugate

Carole was the daughter of Harry and Lilyan Lorenz and the dearest sister of Barbara Nuber.

Carole was the loving wife of the late Charles D. Fugate and devoted mother to Cheryl Robbs, Charles H. (Barb) Fugate, and David (Patricia "Tricia") Fugate. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Tanya (Gregory) Turner, Lisa (Kyle) Codd, Terry "T.J." Robbs, Charles RL (Caden Sumner) Fugate, Sarah Fugate, David Fugate, and Daniel Fugate. Carole took immense pride in being a great-grandmother to Tiana Turner, Tiera Turner, Gregory Turner, Isabella Codd, Sophia Codd, and Jacob Codd.

She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, dedicating herself to raising her family and ensuring their happiness and well-being. She cherished family time and creating lasting memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carole found immense joy and relaxation in creating a tranquil setting with her gardens. She loved tending to her garden and looked forward to the spring where she would spend countless hours planting and tending to her flowers.

A memorial in her honor will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Angela Hospice or a No Kill Animal Shelter/Rescue, such as New Hope Pet Rescue (Lansing, MI), or The KARENs; organizations that reflect Carole’s compassion and love for all living beings.

Carole will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who know her.
