Charles E. Berry “Chuck” was born on July 8, 1943 in Robinsfield, Georgia to his parents, Phillip and Vivian Berry. Chuck passed away peacefully under the care of Angela Hospice on February 5, 2024 at age 80.
Beloved wife of Gloria Berry. Loving father of Cynthia, Sheila (Michael), Jackie (Joe), and Jennifer (Chris). Cherished grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Dick (Lisa) and Ken (Peggy).
Chuck enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid bowler and appreciated time spent with friends during the league gatherings, he also found peace and happiness boating on Cass Lake with his family. He made many memories at the family cottage up north, which his family will forever treasure. As a longtime member of the Mustang Club of America, Chuck was an avid car guy and was proud of his classic Mustang that he owned. Chuck was also a huge fan of Jimmy Buffet; the classic “5 O’clock Somewhere” song perfectly encapsulated Chuck’s philosophy of living life to the fullest, no matter the hour. Just like most of us, he was a diehard Detroit Lions fan. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, including his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date.
