Christine Daniel

Beloved sister of the late Richard Daniel. Dearest mother of Allison (Bruce) Ward and Lynette (Ronny) Berdel and grandmother of Nicole (Armin), Erica (Nicholas), Patrick (Sarah).

Christine Daniel was the matriarch of her family. She brought people together and enjoyed entertaining and making everyone happy. She was the life of the party. Christine loved children and was a very kind and generous grandmother. She was independent and strong, yet gentle, kind, and giving to everyone. She enjoyed spending time on, in and near the water. As a young mother she went to beauty school and worked as a hairdresser in her home, which was a popular hangout spot for the neighborhood housewives of that era. In 1996 she retired as a secretary with the IRS. Throughout her life, Christine traveled extensively throughout Europe and across the United States. Friends and family enjoyed hearing her recount her adventures. She will be remembered as a night owl who loved Elvis Presley, pizza and traditional Polish food, crossword puzzles, playing slot machines at the casino, gossip magazines and watching her favorite tv shows and old movies. She had very good taste and a great sense of humor. Fashionable even as she got older and always complimented others on their fashion too. She was also known for being fashionably late. Fittingly, she is the last to join her closest friends and family of her generation.
