Christopher graduated from Northville High School in 2005. After high school, he discovered his passion for furniture design, woodworking, and carpentry. He was incredibly talented, creative, and far smarter than he ever gave himself credit for. Christopher had a unique gift for seeing beauty where others might not. Whether in architecture, discarded materials, or worn pieces of furniture. He loved taking recycled materials and transforming them into something new, often restoring old furniture and bringing life back to pieces many would overlook.
Christopher spent six years living in Southern California, where he embraced adventure and the outdoors. He lived his life fully and freely, with a deep love for hiking, nature, and exploring the beauty of the world around him. Music was another passion of his, often serving as the soundtrack to his creative work and daily life.
Christopher will be remembered for his creativity, his adventurous spirit, and his ability to find value and beauty in the overlooked. Those who knew him will carry with them memories of his talent, his perspective, and the way he lived life on his own terms.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Laura Bartell and Chris Bono Sr.; his stepfather, Shawn; his siblings, Niklas, Avery, Jack, and Ivy; his girlfriend, Mai Klooster; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan, John, David, and Leneah. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Hilda and Helen.
Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Larry and Bill.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
