I'll never forget you. My Led Zeppelin date & first love. 

I'm so sadden by the loss of my dear friend Cindy.  We met and become friends through work almost 25 years ago.  We enjoyed our lunch dates that often involved a salad followed by dessert that we would split as our way of feeling less guilty.  We especially enjoyed Saunders hot fudge cream puffs at Kirby's; it was a standing favorite. On our birthday, we always made plans to met up for dinner and a beer.  Cindy was so sweet when my father was living with us and every year put a box of her homemade Christmas cookies together for him. I let her know after he was gone that I was hoping the cookies didn't stop coming and they didn't.  To this day my oatmeal raisin cookies are just not as good as hers were.  She always told me i needed to add more flour and I tried but somethings you just can't duplicate.  Cindy talked about her family and nieces and nephews often; they all meant so much to her.  I felt like I knew them through her conversations over the years without ever meeting them. I always wished I had taken up the game of golf because it was something she also enjoyed so much; maybe in our next chapter together I will.  I can't say enough about her personal big teddy bear of a husband Pete, just a wonderful man that she loved dearly and did such a wonderful job caring for her. I know she is in a better place now and is no longer in pain or discomfort. This is what will get me through missing her until we met again.  Prayers to Pete and all the family to heal over her loss.  The family did such a wonderful job at the memorial service.  The personal tributes the family members did were so nice; just as Cindy would have wanted it to be.

Pete, I am truly sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife Cindy. My heartfelt sympathy is with you during this difficult time.

Was blessed to have watched you grow from a young girl to a wonderful loving, giving, family oriented Woman. I will hold the fun memories we made with all the kids close to my heart.
