

David Raymond Tingley was born December 16, 1955, the son of Thomas and Carol Tingley. He lived in Rochester, Michigan for many years before moving to Livonia and living there for the last 30 years. He was a brick mason and took great pride in building and remodeling his house. He proudly served his country as a Ranger in the U.S. Army from 1974-1977 in the 82nd Airborne Division. David loved to read and do wood working, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family.
David is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Judy and his son David Jared Tingley. He is also survived by his siblings Gary (Heebog) Tingley, Robert Tingley, Cathy Tingley, James (Yong) Tingley, Margaret Parker and Lynn (Robert) Clement. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit David's family on Tuesday November 22, 2011 from 4 pm until 8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, located at 37000 W. Six Mile in Livonia, Michigan 48152. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at 2 pm at the funeral home. Harry J. Will is located on the north side of W. Six Mile, east of I-275 and Newburgh Road.
Memorials may be made in David's honor to the American Cancer Society.
