Dennis always seem to have a Smile!  One of my favorite memories of Dennis was every time I came home on leave he always wanted to give me an “adjustment”  he was always very easy to talk to, and I always felt so good  afterwards .  So sorry for your loss !  he was truly a Great  Man!  My prayers go out to your family .

My dear cousin, God gave us a beautiful family and we share many memories ( some left unsaid) LOL 😉 Time passes and the dynamics in ones life change yet you'll forever be in my heart. You know that.

Dee & Family...
I've been staring at this announcement all week since I saw Peggy's post on Monday.
Like all of us wonder, how can a man so full of life be gone so soon?
I have been almost a life-long friend of Dennis (Den-Den) & there are truly no words  to share with you, his beloved wife, his treasured kids & cherished family on how I feel.
We shared many things growing up...hopes, dreams & schemes...he mostly had the schemes;)  As we grew older, it was those memories  that kept us young & laughing.  I do believe he was voted "class clown" of the class of Jan 1969.  He didn't make it to age 69, but I do know that he wanted to...  He will always be in my thoughts & heart as those he loved will be.

We moved in next door to Dennis and Denise in the summer of 2001 and we could not ask for better neighbors.
Our hearts are broken!

Dennis loved the summer, the hotter the better.  We were just talking on Sunday over the fence, as we offen did, about how nice the day was and that we should buy an island in the Caribbean and never have to put up with the winter cold again.  

We'll miss seeing him, especially this summer, it's going to seem incomplete without him.  Denise, we love you and are right next door any time you need anything!



Denise athos and I are both so sorry to hear of his passing. It won’t be the same not seeing him cutting the grass and washing those cars even in middle of winter. I know you have great faith and that will get you much peace. Our name for you is smiley cause you are so sweet. Love and hugs.

Dear Denise and Family,
I was so saddened to learn of the passing of my dear friend Dennis.  I have a lifetime of fond memories of our times together. We met back in high school and became fast friends. We bonded over our passion for music, as well as other shared interests and experiences. Over the years, we kept in touch to chat and update one another on developments with our families. I truly valued our  life long friendship. 
May you be comforted by the legacy that Dennis leaves behind.

Around 1958 this kid came walking down the street looking for the house of my best friend at the time. He asked if I knew where my friend lived, and I led him to my friend’s house. Little did I know at the time this would be the start of a wonderful friendship that grew during our elementary, junior and high school years. I will always cherish all the crazy, fun and wild times Dennis and I shared growing up together. Dennis even got me my first real job. His dad was Head Chef and Kitchen Director at Town & Country Club in Southfield. During the summer Dennis and I worked as short order cooks at the outdoor grill. During the colder months I was a dishwasher and Dennis as a cook assistant in the kitchen. That was back in the day of $1.65/hr. wages. We were as close as brothers. I will surely miss our milestone birthday calls. Dennis, there is a void in my heart now that you are gone. You were a dear friend. We will truly miss you. Our thoughts and prayers to Denise, his wonderful children, grandchildren and brothers and sister. Love, Kurt and Mo

Carol and I are so sorry for your loss.  I have many fond memories of spending summer afternoons with Dennis when visiting with uncle John and aunt Peggy. Dennis was always creative and wonderfully fun to hang out with. I will miss him. 

Dennis was a great friend to Daryl, who grew up just a block away.  We both enjoyed seeing him at his fathers retirement, at Birmingham Country Club. We will certainly be praying for his entire family...

I’m so sorry to hear of your fathers passing, Shawn.  What a beautiful legacy he leaves behind in you, your siblings and his grandchildren.  

Dennis was a true friend.  We meet in college and continued our friendship for all the years.  A very caring and likeable fella.  He will be missed.
