

Dolores Lottie Dreyfus was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on April 17, 1930 to Stanley and Pearl Bednarski. She passed away peacefully in Farmington Hills, Michigan on June 12, 2013 at the age of 83.
She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Dreyfus who passed away before her on June 15, 1969. Loving mom of Raymond D. (Suzanne) Dreyfus, David (Sally) Dreyfus, Karen (Greg) Gariepy and Ilene (Jeffrey) Schleuning. Dear grandma of Erik (Amie) Dreyfus, Jeffrey (Shannon) Gariepy, Jason (Mindi) Dreyfus, Kirk Dreyfus, Nicholas (Jennifer) Dreyfus, Rachel Gariepy, Brandon Gariepy, Jackson Schleuning, and Mclaren Schleuning. Great-grandma of Tyler Dreyfus, Trent Gariepy, Emma Dreyfus, Zoey McKinnon, Aidan Gariepy, Leela McKinnon, Gavin Dreyfus, and Troy Dreyfus. Survived by her sisters; Stacia (the late Ed) Kent and Sylvia (the late Fred) Nista. Sister-in-law Evelyn Urban and brother-in-law Ed Gordon. Predeceased by her brother Al Urban and her sister Lorraine Gordon. Dolores will also be missed by her cherished dog Honey.
Dolores was a cashier for Chatham Supermarkets for 18 years until they closed and then she worked for Kids "R" Us. Her retirement job was working for her daughter, Ilene's company, Dance Electric doing reception and bookkeeping. Dolores loved shopping, traveling, dancing and music, especially Elvis. She will be missed by all who knew her. A special thank you to the staff of Clare Bridge in Farmington Hills and Seasons Hospice for the gentle care provided to Dolores.
The family will receive friends for a Visitation on Friday June 14, 2013, from 3-9pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road (East of I-275 and Newburgh Roads) Livonia, Michigan 48152.
The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at St. James the Greater Catholic Church 46325 West Ten Mile Road, Novi, Michigan 48374. Final Viewing will begin at church at 10:00am on Saturday.
Dolores will be laid to rest, with Committal Prayers, in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery next to her husband on the 44th anniversary of his death. They will be together again forever.
The Funeral Mass will be led by Fr. Jeffrey Day of St. Fabian Catholic Church.
