Dear wife of over 64 years to the late Ronald Sipperley. She is survived by her loving children, Patricia (Michael) McEvilly, Ronald (Chris) Sipperley, and Steven (Cindy) Sipperley. Proud grandmother of Jessica Sipperley, Shannon McEvilly, Colin Sipperley, Courtney (Drew) Roberts, Kirstin Sipperley, and Kyle Sipperley, and great-grandmother of Louis R. McEvilly and Breslyn R. Roberts. She is also survived by two large handfuls of beloved friends, whose lives were brightened by her warmth and laughter.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, William and Marion Moore; her cherished granddaughter, Madison McEvilly; and her dear siblings, the late William Moore and the late Lorainne Pizzuti.
Donna had a fun-loving spirit and a warm, easy laugh that could light up a room. She was a devoted fan of Frank Sinatra, often humming his songs around the house, and always had a sparkle in her eye when his music was playing. She loved the energy and excitement of the casino, and she rarely passed up the chance to try her luck. A regular at bingo games and weekly card games with friends, Donna didn’t need high stakes to have a good time—just a few quarters, good conversation, and plenty of laughter.
She also had a special love for sunshine and warm weather, finding peace in sitting outside and soaking up the light. Whether enjoying a summer afternoon or chatting with loved ones over coffee, Donna cherished the little moments that made life beautiful.
She was the kind of person who made others feel welcome and loved. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering support for her family and friends will never be forgotten.
Donna will be laid to rest privately at Great Lakes National Cemetery with her late husband, Ronald.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angela Hospice, whose care and compassion meant so much to Donna and her family.
