Doris is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, August Korte, of 54 years. She is survived by her son Kenneth (Wendy), and cherished grandchildren, Melissa and Jonathan.
Doris fought over a decade battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. In her later years, she resided at several nursing homes where she enjoyed playing bingo, watching movies and visiting with the therapy dogs.

The family will greet guests at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 followed by a memorial service for Doris at 1:00 p.m. at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Following the service, light refreshments will be served.
