Dorothy "Dottie" Zenisek

In her early years Dottie was an accomplished pianist. She was also extremely talented at cross-stitch. Throughout her home there are several displays of needlework she did. A devote catholic, Dottie devoted her time to the church. She had many friends at St. Colette Parish in Livonia and looked forward to seeing them every week.

Above all else Dottie was devoted to her family. Together with her husband Donald, whom she married in 1951, they raised 5 sons and cherished their nine grandchildren. Dottie was the best mother and grandmother there was. She was always there to help out and take care of her family members.

Dottie was the cherished wife of Donald for 62 years. Loving mother of Danny (Suzanne), Tom, James (Denise), David (Carolyn) and Don (Lisa). Beloved grandmother of Bill (Kendra), Jennifer, Andrew, Emily, Brandon, Olivia, Harrison, Dawson and Ava.

Dottie's family will receive friends on Thursday June 20, 2013 from 4 pm to 9 pm with a Vigil Service and Eulogies at 7:30 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (north side of the street, east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia. She will lie in state on Friday June 21, 2013 from 10 am until the time of her Funeral Mass, 10:30 am, at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd. (east side of the street, north of Six Mile Rd.) in Livonia.
