

Douglas worked as a warranty administrator at Great Lakes Power Lift. In his free time he enjoyed trains, playing with his dogs, and music, especially the bass which he was very gifted at playing. Most of all Douglas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Douglas was the loving husband of Sandra for 30 years and the cherished father of Krystof. He is the beloved brother of Kathi Horton, Marc and Peggy (Eddie) Younce and uncle to Scott (Kim) Anderson and Geoff (Stacy) VanDyke and great uncle.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents June and Fred.
Douglas' family will receive friends on Monday February 13, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road (east of I-275 and Newburgh) in Livonia.
Douglas' life will be celebrated with a funeral service on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 30000 Five Mile Rd (between Merriman and Middlebelt) in Livonia.
He will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile Road in Livonia.
