With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce that Edgar Talbot was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of his family.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Edgar served his country with honor and commitment. His lifelong admiration for aviation remained strong long after his service—he was an avid fan of the Blue Angels, marveling at their precision and grace, a reflection of the discipline and spirit he held dear.
Edgar was the beloved father of Marilyn, Shelly, Rhonda (Mark), Eddie (Tammy), Liz, and Caryn, the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest joy, and he poured his heart into every role—as a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and mentor.
He was also a lifelong supporter of the Detroit Tigers, never missing a chance to cheer them on, no matter the season. Whether watching a game, reminiscing about his Air Force days, or spending time with his ever-growing family, Edgar brought warmth, humor, and a quiet strength to every moment.
Though our hearts ache with his absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life.
