Age 74. Eugene (Gene) Harris was the loving husband of Joeana (Cecere) Harris for 55 years. Dear father to John (Millie) Harris of Florida and Rosemarie (John) Trybuski of Michigan. Gene was a wonderful grandfather to Jason and Victoria both in Michigan. Gene was born in Syracuse, New York and lived in Liverpool, New York. He was the middle child of three siblings. He is preceeded in death by his sister Ruth Dickerson of New York and he has a younger brother Kenneth Harris of New York. Gene worked for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI for 41 years and was known for the nickname of "Money."
Gene’s favorite past time was watching the Detroit Tigers. He also loved to watch game shows and do crossword puzzles in his spare time. Gene and Joeana, since his retirement, would spent the winters in Florida with their son.
Gene will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
