Thanks to ALL that have attended my dad's wake, funeral, sent flowers, food, or have comforted us in some way, shape, or form. We appreciate it in our time of need and grief. My dad was quite the influence in all 54 years of my life. Always there, always helping, always teaching, always a second ear to listen to my problems and offer his time and advice on what to do and how to handle the situation at hand. We spent many hours together recently talking and sharing memories from the past. That time? PRICELESS! In the last few days he may not have always known me, but he always gave me his military navy salute. I will forever carry his values, beliefs, and meticulous dedication in everything he did with me. The mold was broken when God created my dad, but the clay has returned to the maker's hands. It may be a month, maybe a year, perhaps another 30 or 40 years, but I know the love for your family will have you waiting at heaven's gate to welcome me home when it's my time to arrive. Please watch over me and my family and keep us safe and happy. Until we meet again dad, I love you! Your youngest son.

Dear Chris, Maryanne and mother "Marge":

I am so sorry for your loss.  I've read Mr. Fricke's obituary and see how many accomplishments he made in his life. I wish I could have met him. He was a man who truly loved life and his family.

I pray God heal your hearts.  I lost my dad over 30 years ago and almost everyday I see something, or hear an old tune that he enjoyed and I remember all the happy times we spent together.

No one ever really dies as long as we have those thoughts and happy memories they'll always be with us forever.

Frank Fricke was the greatest neighbor we ever had in Redford. With his beautiful wife and mother of his children, we could not have asked for a better person to grow up next to. My parents, Jack and Mary Brown on Fox Street in Redford, loved the Fricke's and what they stood for, particularly Frank because he was always friendly with a smile and ready to help them at any time.  He will be missed but will always remain in our hearts. Margie, you did a great job in making Frank as comfortable as you could, when things were hard and difficult in his final years. You are a saint in my book and I still enjoy talking to you about my parents and our upbringing.  Your are my connection to the past and make me feel good whenever we talk on the phone. Can't forget the Fricke boys either, who were great neighbors and good kids. Thanks for being our neighbors for 25 plus years. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all and knowing Frank is watching down on you is a blessing.  Love, Pat and Jane Brown and Family.

Our condolences for your husband and dad's passing.  Mr. Fricke was definitely the leader of the pack.  He adored his family and was so proud to have them around.  
Mr. and Mrs. Fricke had their favorite pew at the Saturday 4pm Mass at St. Colette and then relocated to the "special" section once mobility became a factor. Their love for each other, for God and all His blessings was evident in their daily lives.

Kevin we're so sorry for the loss of your father. He's now in the hands and heart of our Lord and at rest. May many thoughts and memories of all the good times carry you in the days ahead. Maybe even some of the " I shouldn't have done that" memories. These will always keep him close to you forever. Prayers are coming for you you and family. Don & Mary Jo Petrere

     GROWING UP FATHERLESS in the GREAT DEPRESSION, enlisting in the NAVY during WW II, once OWNING your OWN BUSINESS, RAISING a bunch of "MONKEYS", you SURE DID MANAGE to OVERCOME EVERYTHING and PUT "THE GOOD LORD", your LOVE of this LAND, and YOUR FAMILY ABOVE YOURSELF!
     I HAVE ALWAYS FELT SO SORRY for you at the LOSS of YOUR OWN MOTHER only 3 MONTHS before I was born, HER VERY 1ST GRANDCHILD.......
    Then, my BROTHER GREGG many years later.....and EVEN A GRANDSON, MY OWN BOY.....but WE ALL HELPED EACH OTHER and SOMEHOW WE MADE IT THROUGH......
