

He was the beloved husband of Jennie for 64 happy years. Loving father of Nick (Sarah) Valenti, Micheline (David) Cheslin and Charles (Carol) Valenti. Adoring grandfather of Elizabeth, Nicholas and Tommy. Gasper is survived by his brother Peter (Mary) Valenti. Predeceased by his parents and three siblings.
Gasper was at his happiest when he could baby-sit his grandchildren or simply spend time with them and his family on vacations and during holidays.
He honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Gasper will be remembered for his strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and his love of family and friends. He was a skilled ceramic tile and marble artisan who founded G.V. Tile Co.. His crowning business achievement was the restoration of the ceramic tile project for the Detroit Renaissance Center.
The family will receive friends for a Visitation on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 4-8pm and again on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 3-8pm with a 7pm Rosary at:

Gasper will be laid to rest in the beautiful mausoleum of Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery with Committal Prayers and Military Funeral Honors performed by the United States Navy Funeral Honors Team.
