Georgia was my classmate at Sacred Heart High School for four years. She was a quiet pleasant girl who never said a negative thing about anyone. As she matured she was an easy person to befriend, always kind and a delight to converse with at gatherings. She leaves behind good memories and is missed on this anniversary of her passing.

I read with respect and fondness all of Georgia's updates in The Sacred Heart Alumni Section. She was a Lovely person for sure. My condolences to her children, grand children, family and friends. May she Rest In Peace. May Perpetual Light shine upon her. God Bless .  Peggy O'Neill xx

I am so, so very sad to hear of Georgia's passing, and my heartfelt condolences to her loving family. Although Georgia and I never met in person, as her distant relative (through the Finnegans and Schwieders), I've received her lovely newsletters for many years, and always looked forward to her news - and always with a personal handwritten note to me, though she must have had so many to write.

 She embodied a great curiosity and love for our shared family history and always offered her help and guidance in tracing our roots. Most recently she had asked me about another family member online who she thought I might know, and sadly I never had the chance to reply.

Bless you Georgia, for all the warmth, love and generosity you shared with so many for so many years.

To the family and friends of Georgia:
Just got the notice of her passing. I am shocked as I had planned on going to Detroit area this Fall to take her and her husband out to lunch or dinner and meet them for the first time. I had met Georgia on-line via Ancestry about two years ago, where I learned that we were 3-4 th cousins from my great grandmother's side of the family. Georgia was a very kind person and giving, as she was an immense help to me to locate my great, great grandparents, who are buried in Holy Cross cemetery near what use to be Springwells. She will be missed by so many, I know. I also know that she is at home  with the Lord  and with all those relatives that she discovered on Ancestry! Yes, I know she is in heaven! Georgia was my high school classmate. Even at that young age she was always gracious and polite in her interactions with others.  Later in life, Georgia helped to keep us all in touch. Her faith was  evident in the way she lived her life, making her an example for many of us. She will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

In our sing!e days we. Are each in our own car driving down the express way over the speed limit we see a police car.  We slow down cop gets off at the ramp and off we go.  Oh oh here he comes pulls us over and says. You know what goes up must come down.  I don't remember if we got a ticket or not.  We surely had some good times. Rest in peace

Dear Bruce and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Georgia's passing.  She was such a wonderful lady and a dear friend.  We will certainly miss seeing her in our neighborhood or at church.  We always liked hearing about her grandchildren, hobbies and other interests.  God bless you and we hope all your special memories of Georgia will bring your family everlasting comfort and joy.

Georgia and I go back many years. We used to carpool our boys to catechism together. I remember her finally going for walks every morning with her neighbor. She will be greatly missed at the 5 p.m. Saturday night Mass. It definitely have a piece of my heart missing. Miss you rest in peace and be out of pain now
