Grace Clara Heinrichs was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 25, 1923 to the late Walter and the late Clara Matt. She was the oldest of 2 children. Grace passed away peacefully on August 2, 2013, under the gentle care of Hospice Advantage, in Grand Ledge, Michigan at the age of 90.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Heinrichs until he passed away in 1987. Aunt of Elaine (the late Warren) Lamb, Susan Chenette, Michael (Judith) Peddie, Marilyn (the late Jack) Gordon and Barbara (Steve) Smith. Great aunt of many. Dear sister of the late Ruth Matt.
Grace was an innovative woman for her time. She worked her way up from a teller to the Vice Presidency in the public banking industry. She loved all animals, but especially dogs and donated regurlary to the Humane Society.
There will be a Memorial Service at Noon on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, Michigan, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, sister and parents.
Memorial Donations may be made in Grace's name to the Humane Society.
