A kind, loving woman, Jackie dedicated her life to helping others by becoming a psychiatric nurse. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Madonna University, before going on to receive her Master's Degree. She worked at various local hospitals throughout her career including Oakwood Heritage, Riverview and Henry Ford Macomb, where she retired from in 2014.
When not helping others Jackie liked to stay active. One of her greatest passions was traveling. She enjoyed going all over the world, especially places she would be able to scuba dive and practice her underwater photography. When at home, she preferred to keep things more low key. An avid reader, she loved to curl up with a good book, often swapping books with friends and family. She also enjoyed a challenging puzzle to keep her busy or crocheting. Above all else she loved being with family. One of her greatest joys was taking care of her great-nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline was the loving wife of Don for 25 years. Cherished daughter of Edward and the late Bernadette. Beloved sister of Barbara (James) Gusfa and Gerald (Kathy) Turlo. Dear aunt of 7 and great-aunt of 8.
Jackie's family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday November 8 and Wednesday November 9 from 3-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd.
