Jerry was the beloved husband of Diane Kaye for 51 wonderful years. He was the loving father of Holly (Kevin) Lauzze and Heidi (Paris) Phou, and the proud and devoted grandfather, affectionately known as "Gups," to his granddaughters, Sophia and Cady Phou.
Jerry had a special place in his heart for animals, particularly rescue dogs. Over the years, he lovingly cared for six canine companions who brought him much joy. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings fan who rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. Jerry also enjoyed attending classic car cruises and was especially proud of his blue 1969 Corvette Stingray, a car he treasured and loved showing off whenever he had the chance. He liked spending time outdoors with the dogs, taking drives, and sharing stories with family and friends. Above all else, Jerry treasured time spent with his family, especially his beloved granddaughters, who were the light of his life and brought him endless pride and happiness.
