

Joanne Elaine Page, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Born on January 24, 1937, Joanne lived a life full of love, creativity, and joy, leaving behind a legacy that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Joanne took immense pride in maintaining a beautiful home and providing a nurturing environment for her family. She was renowned for her skills in crocheting and knitting, particularly her wash cloths and towel, which she provided to her family and friends at the holidays. She also found great joy in reading and music, she loved to dance especially the Polka. Her commitment to her family’s well-being was exemplified by her steadfast routine cooking a home cooked meal every day with dinner on the table at 5:30 every day, on the dot. A small but meaningful tradition that offered stability and comfort to her loved ones.
Joanne had a deep affection for babies and delighted in their company, embodying a warmth and tenderness that touched everyone around her. She also enjoyed the camaraderie of playing cards with friends and family, and her adventurous spirit led her to explore wonderful destinations including Hawaii, Alaska, and Europe.
Joanne is survived by her loving children, Deborah Nickerson, Cheryl (Mike) Kwolek, and Michael (Maryann) Page. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Chad (Candice) Stidham, Lauren Nickerson, Jennifer Moll, Jeff Tomlinson, Josh (Gina) Kwolek, Bradley (Brittany) Page, Mitchell (Veronica) Dommer, Maxwell Dommer, and Marlee (Nate) Garcia. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Donavon, Cade, Brody, Amara, Brielle, Khloe, Kobe, Madison, Dawson, Ella, Leighton, Caydence, Lola, Madeline, William, Jensen, Makayla, Beckett, Brody, Ash, and Leo, and a great-great-grandmother to little Evelyn.
Joanne’s memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, care, and creativity will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Joanne’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. A Memorial Luncheon will follow the service at the funeral home, and an inurnment will take place at 2:00 pm at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
