Casey, Judith A. (née Vertes). Beloved wife of the late Brian Casey and loving mother to Laura, Erin and her son-in-law David Krill and grandmother to Eamon. Cherished sister of Philip J. Vertes. Retired from the Taylor School District and Wayne County RESA, she remained a passionate educator and active volunteer throughout her life. Born on July 4th, Judy’s firecracker personality brought joy to others with laughter and spunk. She loved Motown, stepping on the gas and seasons up north. Judy is remembered for her big smile and deep love for friends and family.
Visitation Thursday, June 16 from 3-8:30pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Road in Livonia. Funeral Mass Friday, June 17 at 10:30am at St. Kenneth Catholic Church 14951 Haggerty Road in Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Angela Hospice or Sky Foundation in Judy’s honor.
