Judith was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 27, 1933 to Frieda (Hein) and William Ramsey.
She attended Detroit Public Schools and went on to become a beautician.
She also loved teaching Sunday School with Detroit Bible Club and doing Puppet Shows. She loved roller skating and speed skating.
She married Voigt Hodgson (now deceased in 1995) on September 15, 1956. They had five children: Matthew, Loraine, Edward (now deceased 1987), Albert and Jane Hodgson-Maiorano-who married Colin Maiorano. (Jane is also deceased 2012)
She leaves behind an older sister, Gloria Lavender, three children: Matthew (married to Carol), Loraine, and Albert and one son in law, Colin.
She also leaves two grandsons: David (married to Charlee) and John (married to Rachel).
David and Charlee are the parents to Grace, Judith’s oldest great-grandchild. John and Rachel are the parents to Patrick, Judith’s next great-grandchild.
Judith also leaves many nieces and nephews.
