

Kathleen had a heart that was always turned toward others. She had an extraordinary gift for making people feel seen, loved, and uplifted. Her sense of humor was a hallmark of her personality, always ready to bring a smile to someone’s face.
A devout Catholic, Kathleen was a faithful member of St. Edith Catholic Church for over 50 years. She lived her life rooted in strong faith.
Kathleen’s happy place was being surrounded by Family and Friends. She also loved to feed and watch the birds in her back yard. She was a talented cook and baker, best known for her famous spaghetti and meatballs, and baked beans. A leading contributor to the Burdette family cookbook, she added more recipes than anyone else, sharing not just food, but memories and love through her cooking.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Michael (Debra) Burdette and David (Roberta) Burdette; six grandchildren, Kevin (Rachelle), Andrea (Matthew), Ryan, Cameron (Madde), Kyle (Chelsea), and Brendan (Sammi); and six great-grandchildren, Logan, Matthew, William, Spencer, Everett, and Daphne. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her warmth, generosity, and humor will be remembered by all who knew her. Kathleen’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, her church community, and everyone blessed to have been part of her life.
