Born on December 28, 1948 to Robert and Jean Raddatz (Toner), Leslie lived a life defined by her deep and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Havelock, NC, she served the church faithfully over the years in a variety of roles.
Professionally, Leslie loved her time as a preschool teacher where her integrity, kindness, and love for children were a shining example of her Christian values in the workplace.
Above all, Leslie considered her family to be her greatest earthly blessing. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who prayed endlessly for her family and led by example. Leslie is survived by her children, Michael (Noël) Wildauer, Tacie Cullingford, Weston (Sarah) Wildauer, and Alan Wildauer; 10 grandchildren (Charlie Lewis, Luke, Emily, and Madeline Wildauer, Cale and Casen Cullingford, and Kaelyn, Owen, Eva, and Zeke Wildauer); and her siblings (Rob, Lowrie, Royce, Will, Randy, and Wendell) who will forever cherish the memory of her steadfast love and spiritual guidance. Leslie is now at rest with Jesus along with those who went before her, including her husband Norman, her infant daughter Gretchen, her mother Jean Raddatz (Toner), and her father Robert Raddatz.
We take great comfort in knowing that Leslie has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," and is now experiencing the fullness of joy in the presence of God.
A joyful celebration of Leslie’s life and faith will be held on Friday, May 29 at 11:00am at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, located at 14175 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI. The service will be officiated by Rev. Chris Fairbairn with a visitation beforehand from 10:00-11:00am. The graveside service will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery on May 29, at 12:30pm located at 35667 8 Mile Rd, Livonia, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Havelock, NC, or to Phil’s Friends in Leslie’s honor.
