Lloyd was a WWII veteran and an enthusiastic history buff. His innate storytelling captivated everyone. He was a dedicated 40-year Ford Motor Company leader who mentored young professionals.
Lloyd treasured his family and friends. He built special lifelong memories through golfing, fishing, camping, sailing and water skiing. He had a zest for life, from coaching his sons’ middle school hockey teams to mentoring young kids in golf well after retirement. One of his proudest accomplishments was his establishment of the “Ratchford Open” golf tournament, that has connected family and friends for over 25 years.
Lloyd was a man of Faith with a strong relationship with God. He deeply valued Catholic education and its teachings. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus as an advocate for disabled children, and ushered at St. Collette.
Lloyd had an infectious smile and an unforgettable laugh. He always humbly and thankfully said “he had a good life.” Those who have had the honor of knowing him, will miss him dearly.
