I think of Lynnette so very often!  I keep running across photos of us together doing fun things together!  Michigan National events, Halloween parties, concerts, shopping trips, dancing at Plum's (and many other dance places with friends), MNB post-softball game celebrations, adventures with my 2 kids, being coat-check girls for a huge Steelcase event, trips to Port Austin with Renee, Cheryl, Debbie and Cathy.  I stood by her when she married Dave and when they divorced.  She stood by me through marriage and divorce.  I still have greeting cards and notes she'd sent through the years.
She will live in my heart and memory forever.

No matter where I go, what I do… my thoughts are always about you. Your sister, your friend, Judy

The most endearing memory we shared together…  it was a brief, precious moment I hold in my heart, a gift you gave me three days prior to your passing, I saw your eyes looking at me clearly focused as if you were well, and I realized you knew who I was…to my amazement you said my name. Lynnette, you knew it and I knew it…  I know in my heart; my baby sister, are not of your remains, but of your spiritual energy that watches above and all around us in each of our hearts. 

We visit you now and always feeling comfort knowing you rest peacefully together with “our” Mother …

Lynnette, how do I begin to say good bye?  I really don't want to . You were the last of 6 to be born to Mama and Daddy. I was the first, older enough to remember you moving in Mama's belly and I remember your first day home with the rest of "us". Tiny baby swaddled in pink.  As an adult I remember you as always smiling, ready to  do anything. Never judging me or blaming me or arguing with me as some sisters can. You were pretty, and easy going and funny and I have to say you had a beautiful figure, I was jealous of how you wore clothing and always looked fabulous with very little makeup.  I remember when you first came to live with me at the beginning of this tragic event. You were down in my little garden area cleaning the dried hydrangea blossoms from the previous year. I was sitting on the deck sofa and you came up the stairs with your hands cupped one over the other.  I thought, "oh boy". What is in her hands, a flower, a bug and little birdie, as you called them.  Nope! With this big smile on your face, you opened your hands to show me the Frog you had found. Smiling and giggling you petted his head!  We shared two other sisters that would have been freaking out.  Oh Lynnette, it was just so funny.  You are with me every  morning, noon and night.  I have many fond memories and thoughts of you everyday.  Your face is frozen in time. You will never grow old and I have the picture of you wearing that blue and white dress that we picked out for Noah's wedding. You were so happy that day. You were beaming. I love you is not enough, but it is the only phrase I have to tell you how much you meant to me.


As a previous work colleague and friend and I learn about Lynnette’s passing … please know that Lynnette was cared about and respected.  She was a good person and had a positive impact on others, including myself.  I’m glad that she is now at peace.  

Please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss.  May your heart and soul find peace and comfort.
The MNB girls made so many amazing memories together!  May she rest in peace.

Hello, I had the good fortune to work with Lynette for multiple years in Detroit. She was brilliant as a coworker and wonderful as a person. She is sorely missed and I think of her often!

Once hung in Lynnette’s room … 
now protecting from above … always by her side.  

“Unconditionally” … Lynnette loved and they loved Lynnette.  

So many beautiful words and caring thoughts sent from family and friends of deepest sympathy, peace, support, rest, healing, heartfelt, love, sorrow, life, tears, comfort, prayers, cherished memories, strength, never forgotten, always missed, forever loved.  

Lynnette, I hope you knew I was thinking of you often.  As I look at our younger photo of all us kids … little Lynnette was held by our mother.  I pray you are with her now.  I am so sorry for your passing and wished I could have helped you in some way.  Bye, bye Lynnette,

To my Aunt Nett …. “Memorable” … that’s the word that comes to my mind when I think of the times we shared together.  Now, as I grow up, my memories of you will be of the fun we had and how glad I am that you were a part of my life.  Love always, Fiona

For those of us where you were born into our lives or were introduced to you along the way, Lynnette we love you as a baby sister and a life-long friend.  What a gift you were to each of us.  So grateful of our years together and all that we shared.  Now, our love and friendship finds its place within our hearts in remembering our time together.  We will visit you now feeling such comfort to know you rest peacefully within “our” mother’s arms.  Lynnette, we will always “look for you … you look for us”.  Forever and ever our special love continues.  

Lynnette … To use some of the words from the last birthday card I gave to you on your 60th birthday …  who knew this card would  become such a special card and such a special memory I’ll have of you now, forever.  “So here’s  the thing” and something I want everyone to know … we were friends for a long, long time.  We shared so much on the roller coaster of life together.  I’m grateful all our years kept us close and we were the best of friends … life-long friends.  What a gift you were to me.  I miss you and love you.

My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends. I worked with Lynette for several years. We often shared a good laugh. She was a very sweet person. May she rest peacefully and may God continue to provide her loved ones with comfort and peace.

I worked with Lynnette for 10 plus years.  She was funny and always made me smile.  She is gone too soon, but I am glad she is at peace.
