Marguerite "Midge" Walsh

She was the loving mother of Martin (Reana), Tara, Tracey, Monique (Dale), and Michele (Trevor). Silly Grammy of William, Johanna (Nathaniel), Amanda (Zak), Christopher, Kayla (Nicholas), Olivia (Mohammed), Joshua, and Matthew. Cherished Meemaw of Maya and Zayn. She will be especially missed by her nephew Steve (Thea), his children Samantha and Gunnar, and her cousin Angie Benian.

Midge was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 16 years, William Thomas "Tom" Walsh, and her sister Lucy.

Midge graduated high school at just 16 years old and went on to attend trade school to pursue her passion for bookkeeping. She began her career at Chrysler, where she would meet her future husband Tom, whom she married in 1958. Although she temporarily paused to raise her children, her work as a bookkeeper spanned throughout her life until she finally retired at age 82.

Midge was known for her love of travel, specifically road trips. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandkids at the beach, dancing, and reading. She held profound faith and was proud of her Armenian heritage. She also knew how to have fun, being known as the "goofy" grandparent by her family and indulging in a daily glass of wine.

A visitation will be held Thursday, April 10, from 10:00-11:00am at Ward Church, 40000 Six Mile Rd, Northville Township, Michigan 48168 (entrance in rear, use door marked 3) ahead of a service beginning at 11:00am. She will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
