Marianne Theresa Trombley, age 64, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. Loving mother to Kelly (Greg) Graham, Laura Trombley, Michael Trombley, Tim Trombley, and Nicole Trombley.
Marianne was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Dave, as well as her parents Lawrence and Lorraine McCarty.
Marianne attended Madonna University where she received a bachelor's degree ahead of teaching preschool at Christus Victor in Dearborn Heights and YWCA Headstart in Inkster and Dearborn Heights. She was passionate about gardening, bike-riding, and reading. Marianne was a devout Catholic throughout her life, and she was a member of St. Albert the Great church ahead of becoming a member of St. Edith. She was also a member of the Women of Prayer group at Our Lady of the Angels Church.
Contributions in her memory are appreciated to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Michigan Parkinson Foundation.
A memorial gathering will be held Monday, August 19, from 3:00-8:00pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152, with a rosary at 7:00pm. A memorial mass will occur the following day, August 20, at 11:00am at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, following an in state period beginning at 10:30am.
