Mark was a passionate man who loved his family, the outdoors and his country. He also had a great sense of humor. He was a humble and proud man. Although Mark faced many challenges in his life, he didn’t complain. Mark worked at the family Dental Laboratory for 30 years, and he produced beautiful work before they finally closed the business. Mark loved many things; writing, history, his country, hunting, fishing and cooking, and simply being with people. Above all else, he loved his family and his friends, of which he had many. Mark was also the family historian and always made the concerted effort to preserve family history. Writing to preserve this history was one of Mark’s favorite things to do. Mark was an easygoing and likable guy and once you were his friend his loyalty to you never wavered. He was also one of the most kind and thoughtful individuals you would ever meet.
Mark left this world to soon on Thursday, February 1, 2018. He is missed greatly and will always be cherished by his loving sister Kay (Clark) Stone, his dearest brother Dale (deceased), his adored niece Sherri (John) Blue and their wonderful boys, Michael and Alec, and his equally adored niece Julie (Paul Cornillie) Rogers and their wonderful children; Brendan, Austin, Sean, and Megan. Mark loved all of his friends and everyone in his family, and he took special joy through his life in seeing his nieces grow up, have families of their own, and then watch all of their children grow up to be the fine adults they are today. He cherished the time he had with his family and everyone else. Mark enjoyed life and he had many days filled with happiness, good memories, and laughter. Mark’s presence remains with us and we sense that he is at peace. An active and well-lived life this wonderful man had, and we are all so very grateful that he was a part of our lives as well.
