I just learned of Mark's passing and didn't want to believe it. He was a person of goodness and kindness and dedication to his family and others in the community. He fought a tough battle against his disease. I hope that he can rest in peace now. Sending my best to you and your family.

Deepest Sympathy to the Wherrett family.  Mark was one of my first mentors as an intern at Swanson Environmental.  I see he continued to touch the lives of many.

I was fortunate to know and work with Mark for nearly 20 years.  We worked on many projects together and traveled to many facilities over those years, even hosting many meetings at "EQO-Canton" when Mark wasn't able to get into the office.  While traveling, I will miss heading out after dinner on a search to find a new whiskey for us to try.  We found many great locations which made business travel much more enjoyable.

Sunrise doesn't last all morning, just as sunset doesn't last all day,
It is only in dying that we are born to eternal life. May you see the face of God today. Our thoughts and are with you all.

We were so fortunate to know Mark for the time that we did when he was coaching our son Kurt on the Prep team. He was a great guy, a great coach, and a fantastic role model for the boys with his strength and outlook on life. He will be missed but always remembered and appreciated...
