Maryann Maloney

Maryann Maloney, age 90 of Garden City, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Loving mother of Kathleen (James) Johnson. Proud grandma of Erin (Brandon) Hoard and Thomas (Cintya Coello) Johnson. Cherished great-grandmother of Gannon, Ryann, Eleanor, and Nathalia. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Maryann was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Thomas, her parents, Joseph and Ann, and her siblings, Paul and Helen.

Maryann was known for her multifaceted and versatile personality. She was talented in various arts, such as painting, ceramics, and sewing. She had a passion for music, specifically opera, and even attended the University of Detroit Mercy for a few years to pursue music education. Most importantly, she valued her relationships with her friends and family. Everyone always knew Maryann was there whenever they needed. She loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother, always having a special new treat or game to play with them.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, with a rosary service at 7:00 PM. An in state will occur Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle, 31350 Beechwood Ave, Garden City, MI 48135, followed by a funeral mass beginning at 11:00 AM.
