Michael Lawrence Liedel, 59, of Livonia, passed away June 23, 2021. Mike was born in Detroit, Michigan to Gail and Larry Liedel on May 3, 1962 the first of their four sons. Mike played baseball under his father as coach through little league. Later, during his high school years, Mike played bass guitar in a band with friends, calling themselves "The Attitudes". He graduated in 1980 from Bentley High School in Livonia. After high school Mike worked at A. J. Foland's, where he met his future wife, Jill. They were married on October 6, 1990, and had one son, Paul, who was the greatest joy in Mike's life. Mike worked in several warehouses doing shipping and receiving. ICG sent Mike to Ohio where he worked setting up, staffing and managing a warehouse in Columbus. He commuted home each weekend to be with family. Mike worked for Promotion Technology Group, in Wixom, and was lucky enough to work alongside his son, Paul every day. Mike worked there for a number of years and was loved so much by his PTG family.
Mike's favorite meals included pizza, Jill's lasagna and chili. He spent happy hours watching TV, playing music, caring for his mother and collecting guitars. He was a whiz at answering Jeopardy questions and never seemed to miss the "Final Jeopardy" question. A lover of animals, Mike missed his beloved pets Mackenzie and Zoey.
