Loving mother of Robert (Karen) Alderton, Victoria (Timothy) McCarthy, Peggy Crandell, and Michele (James) Dickelman. Beloved grandmother of Finnian, Catherine, Fiona, Jack, Cormac, Shea, Mary, and Fred.
Michele was preceded in passing by her husband, Thomas, and parents, Helen and Victor.
Michele was a lifelong learner. She had multiple degrees, took piano lessons well into retirement, and was learning to speak French in recent years. She enjoyed sewing, participating in religious studies, and playing games, including bingo with her neighbors, pinochle with friends, and family game nights. Her love for reading and unceasing curiosity prepared her for one of her favorite rituals... playing along while watching "Jeopardy!" In addition to enjoying action novels and spy thrillers, she also loved swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
A memorial mass for Michele will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 9:30am at St Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
