Our beloved Father, the best Papa, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, April 3rd at 11:05 pm, surrounded by the love he gave so freely throughout his life, and with his devoted wife, our mother, faithfully by his side.
He was already a walking miracle, having fought and won long, hard battles with cancer for over a decade. Now in God’s arms, he has no more struggle, no more pain—only love.
To our family, he was our foundation. He was the steady presence we could always rely on, the strength that held us together through every season of life, even in his own struggles. His love was constant and unconditional—felt in the smallest gestures and the biggest moments.
Together with our mother, he built a life rooted in love, resilience, and unwavering commitment to his parents, children, family, and friends—that showed us what true devotion looks like.
His presence filled all our lives with a sense of security that cannot be replaced, and his absence leaves a space that words cannot fully express. We will miss him more than we can say and love him always.
With so much love, Pete is survived by his wife, Connie Provenzola, and his children: Tracy, Domonic, Jayson, Ronald, Daniel, and Jacob, as well as the love of his extended family and friends.
Our father’s wishes are being fulfilled. Our family, together with his closest friends, will host a special Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 16, from 3:00 pm until sunset at Island Lake Recreation Area in the Liberty shelter. Love of God, Hot Rods, and Motown. There will be an enclosed celebration tent with all comforts and a tent votive chapel. Food and beverages will be served. Please wear comfortable attire; there will be horseshoes, bocce ball, and a bounce house. If you have a Hot Rod car, please bring it/drive it in Pete’s honor. There will be a special parking area established at the front of the Liberty shelter.
Please email photos, a fond memory, or questions to: [email protected] and bring old photos to share.
In lieu of flowers, Pete's family kindly requests donations to the Meals on Wheels program, where his father volunteered for years.
