Phyllis Ann Peterson

Phyllis Ann Peterson, age 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at her home in Westland, Michigan surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, mother, Mema, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Phyllis Ann was born May 26, 1952 to Marvin and Phylis Lowell. She had 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Phyllis Ann was a talented reflexologist for 45 years and found joy in helping others through her healing touch. However, her greatest accomplishment was the beautiful family she had built. She was a loving wife of 53 years to her husband Floyd Peterson, a dedicated mother to her children Michael (Kathaleen) Peterson, Jeffrey (Heather) Peterson, Amber (Jason) Jopek, and Amy (Adam) Bogenschutz, and a doting Mema to her 10 grandchildren.

Phyllis Ann started serving the Lord at the young age of 10 and continued to live a life of faith and love until the very end.

In her free time, Phyllis Ann enjoyed gardening, cooking delicious meals for her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. She had a warm and welcoming spirit that made everyone feel at home in her presence.

Phyllis Ann leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faith that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but her memory will forever be cherished.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 3:00PM- 8:00PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 6 Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 6 Mile Road, Livonia, MI 48152. Phyllis will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, 34224 Ford Road, Westland, MI 48185.
