

Phyllis M. (Brinson) Robinson-Feddis, formerly of Cedar and Livonia, Michigan died on June 10, 2013. Loving wife of the late William Robinson and the late Phillip Feddis, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her son, Timothy; her daughter, Theresa; her sisters, Georgina Connell, Alma Maher, Lucille David, and Theresa Luberto; and her brothers, Aldoph “Bus” Brinson, Lenwood Brinson, Martin Brinson, and James Brinson. She is survived by her children: Karen (Phillip) Camp, Kathleen Ferguson, Jack Robinson, and Paula Fralick. “Grandma the Great” will be lovingly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In 1962, Phyllis was the first woman in Livonia to win a primary election for the City Council. She later lost in the general election to her old friend Ed McNamara. Phyllis was a real estate broker for Hallmark Realty and Century 21 for over 30 years. In 1978, she and her husband Bill moved to Sugar Loaf Resort in Cedar, MI and she opened a Century 21 office in Suttons Bay until her retirement.
Phyllis loved to travel, ski, golf and play tennis. She had four holes in one in her lifetime. Two of Phyllis’ greatest loves were cooking and entertaining. She loved the challenge of a difficult recipe. All family and friends who came to her table left with a smile.
A celebration of her life will take place with a memorial gathering on Monday June 24 from 2-9 pm with Rosary 7 pm, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. in Livonia. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday June 25 at 10:30 am with a gathering 10 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 11441 Hubbard St. in Livonia.
