Hey, its me again, Emma. I just forgot to say that she passed away 4 days before my birthday. Love you Rachel.

Umm im in school right now but i am her niece and im in 6th grade. I love to dance and ive been dancing for 9 years. This is the first year ive had a solo. And Rachel is not here to see it, but i know she would be proud. I miss her so much and love her.

For Rachel:

We love you so much. You are such a tough cookie. I'll always remember our trips to Detroit rocking at the 2500 club. Our silly times at Stonewood. Or even a quiet night at a Redford bonfire. You are a great time EVERY TIME. 

Please watch over Audrey and Addison, they are so lucky to call you their Guardian Angel.

Rachel was a student of mine at RU. Her smile was infectious, and her intelligence and wit, admirable. Most importantly, her warmth and kindness towards others was without boundaries.

Rachel was one of a kind. Always a contagious smile that would follow with something that made you laugh and pleasure to be around. I'll always remember in our early 20's hanging out at shows or a random adventure downtown. Then later in life randomly getting together playing catch up. It was a true pleasure to be in your presences. You always brought more then the average person with your kind heart. I know this isn't good bye, but I'll see you dancing in the sky.
  My heart goes out to your family and Brian.  May your hearts heal and you find comfort when it is time.

Rachel you will be missed. I could write hundreds of memories of laughs and good times that I experienced with you. Mostly I just want to Thank you for showing me what it means to be open to new experiences and to smile and be kind to everyone no matter who they are. It amazes me how you would always leave a place with a new friend in your life! I am thankful to have had these moments with you. Prayers to your family

Rachel was the first to say "hello" and "how are you?" when you walked into a room. When leaving, she was the first to give you a hug goodbye. She had this way of making you feel loved. Being a shy person, I was so thankful to have her around at events. She exuded confidence, beauty, and pure genuineness. I will forever cherish the moments we had together. From softball and cheerleading, to concerts and backyard bbqs, I looked up to her. I still do. I am a better person having known her. May you find some peace and comfort during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Bryan and the Hofmann family. Rachel was very special taken way before her time. We keep her and all the fond memories she gave us deep in our hearts everyday.

When I think of Rachel, I think of the conversations we had and the joy and laughter we shared.  She was a joy to be around, she was always positive and had the worlds best tattoo of Tinkerbell.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hofmann family - seems hardly enough - Rachel was a bright and shining light - we have fond memories from Loretto days gone by -may God hold you in the palm of his hand through this sad and trying time and always. I am still in utter shock today as I sit here and realize it's still real that you are gone. I always looked up to you and loved our random chats on FB. You were always one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen. From oll days on up, I always admired you. I'm so sad for your incredible family as they are all too amazing to have to feel this pain. This world has lost someone so very special and will because be the same. Fly high Rachel. You will forever be missed.
