Dr. Ratib Haddad, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of our family, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him most. His life was defined by kindness, humility, faith, and a deep, unwavering commitment to his family.
Born in Fuheis, Jordan, Ratib grew into a man whose quiet strength and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. He lived with a sincere devotion to the Lord, carrying his faith not only in prayer but in the way he treated others — with patience, compassion, and a generous heart. His life was a reflection of the values he believed in: love, service, and integrity.
Ratib’s greatest joy was his family. He was a steady presence, a source of comfort, and a guiding light. His love was patient and constant, expressed not through grand gestures but through everyday acts of care, loyalty, and sacrifice. He worked hard, lived with dignity, and carried his responsibilities with grace.
Those who knew him will remember his warm smile, his calm nature, and the way he made people feel safe simply by being near him. He faced life’s challenges — including his illness — with remarkable courage and faith, trusting in God even in his most difficult moments.
Ratib leaves behind his beloved wife, Faten, and his children — Deena, Neda, May, Peter, and Claudia — who will forever carry his love, his values, and his memory in their hearts. He was also blessed with two precious grandchildren, Skylar and Draqo, who brought him immense joy and who will grow up hearing stories of the grandfather who loved them deeply.
He is further survived by his brothers, Mousa Haddad, Ghazi Haddad, and Ghaleb Haddad, and his sisters, Sister Helda Haddad and Reham Haddad, all of whom shared a lifelong bond of love, loyalty, and family pride with him. They will remember him for his kindness, his steady presence, and the gentle strength he brought into their lives.
The family invites relatives and friends to honor his life at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, 48152, where Ratib’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm, or on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with another Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
