

Robert Neil Jeannotte, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and community member, passed away peacefully on November 9th 2024, at the age of 87. Bob was born on January 26th, 1937, in Hancock, MI, the Upper Peninsula. He leaves behind a remarkable legacy, a life filled with accomplishments, love, and a devotion to family.
Bob was a man of unwavering principle, known for his integrity, honesty, and an infectious love for life. His big personality endeared him to many and left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Bob was also deeply committed to his community. He enjoyed a membership at Meadowbrook Country Club for 45 years and was actively involved in the VFW of Northville, and the Salvation Army. Guided by his Christian faith, Bob’s life was a testament to hard work, dedication, generosity, and love for family.
Bob honorably served in the Army illustrating his dedication and patriotism to his country. Upon his return to civilian life, he pursued a career in the automotive industry. Bob demonstrated his enterprising spirit by purchasing a car dealership in 1976, marking a significant milestone in his professional life. Bob’s business acumen and hardworking nature earned his respect and admiration within the community and industry.
In 1962, Bob married the love of his life, Dolores M. Jeannotte, beginning a beautiful journey together that spanned more than 60 years. He is survived by his loving wife Dolores, children Robbin A. Bidigare (Mike), Robert J. Jeannotte (Lisa), John M. Jeannotte (Kelly), Chris T. Jeannotte (Steve), and grandchildren Jordon (Julia), Alexa (Nick), Sarina (Blake), Michael (Nicollette), Robert Jr., Gabriella, Alexandra (Matt), Ryan, and John Jr. Bob cherished his role as a grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, nurturing and inspiring the next generations of his family. He embodied the values of compassion and the importance of giving back. His legacy will remain in the community he served with distinction.
Preceding Bob in death were his parents, Arthur and Jeannette Jeannotte, and his brother’s Arthur (Lee) Jeannotte (Sharon) and Dale Jeannotte (Paula). He is survived by his sister Carol Bianchi (Louis), and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, on November 17th from 4-8pm, Rosary at 7pm. The funeral service will be at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Drive, Northville, on November 18th at 11am. Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched, and his impact will be felt long into the future.
