We just received word that your dear Rocco passed away and let our dad know today. Our family sends our deepest condolences. We will be forever grateful for the friendship our dad and Rocco had during their time at Fox Run. It was such a blessing for them to be able to pass the time together when their health was better playing Italian cards and talking about the old days in Italy and swapping food stories :) Your dad had a beautiful soul and I know he will be greatly missed by your family and everyone whose life he touched. Prayers for all of you 😘😘 Antonio Roperti and family

I starting coming to Corsica when I was a teen , 1970’s. My parents had come for dinner and they had the best pizza, but now they had bands and I could come dancing with my friends and be safe and have good, inexpensive food. I was always treated with respect. We moved out of town but my friends went to dinner there every Friday, and if we were in town we came by as well! What a wonderful memory!

My condolences to Dino and Louie and your whole family. Your parents were both great people who helped me through a rough time in my life. I loved waitressing at your restaurant and remember my many talks with them both. I still dream that I’m late for work haha. God Bless you all. you will miss them forever. 💕

I did not know Mr. Corsi. But I can tell from what was written about him that he was a great person: long-term marriage, hard worker, devoted family man, and a great American. “Life is God’s gift to us. What we do with it is our gift to Him.” Well done, Mr. Corsi.

Zio Rocco was a very special man. Through out my entire life, Rocco always made me feel welcomed and valued no matter what I was in to. Soon after I got out of high school, I set out to backpack. It is fair to say that my parents, and all of my extended family were against it. Rocco contacted me before I left and made it a point to tell me that if I got into any kind of trouble or ran out of money to call him and he would fund me. That gave me the courage I need to continue on - did I ever thank you Rocco? I hope I did. A couple of years after that, Zio Rocco and Zia Adelia took me in for over 3 months and gave me, without reservation, the love and support they bestowed on Louie and Dino. For the past 46 years I have often looked back to that time, as the watershed moment that made me successful. Rocco showed me the way. A true gift. I know that this story is not my story alone - it is shared by many others. My sorrow, our sorrow, runs deep, very deep.

What a great person! What a great, warm, honest couple. He and Addelia started their business way back around the time Sam and I started and I feel so endeared to them . Nancy Pellerito Batlemento
