

Thomas was born on September 24, 1941, to John and Josephine Magoulick in Detroit, Michigan.
He was the loving husband of Nancy for 59 years. Beloved father of Michael, Jeanne (Wes Lollar), Peter (Nadya), Andrew, and Paul (Nicole). Proud grandfather of Olivia, Brooke, Charley, Nika, Sasha, Angelita (Walker), and Peyton. He will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in passing by his parents and his brothers, John and Daniel.
Thomas spent his 41-year career at Ford Motor Company. He had many accomplishments during his tenure as a powertrain engineer, including holding his own patent. Additionally, he proudly served his community through various programs, such as serving as President and Treasurer of the Northwest Detroit Coalition, volunteering at Focus: HOPE, and being a member of the IRB ethics board through Providence. Outside of his work, Thomas was also an avid walker, woodworker, and duck carver. He enjoyed painting, drawing, gardening, and fishing. Most importantly, he cherished time with his family.
An in state will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48154, followed by a funeral mass beginning at 10:30 AM. Thomas will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan 48442, on Tuesday, June 17, at 11:00 AM, where he will receive honors for his service in the Army.
